Reporting a scam to Rinoa is not an official police or government report. If you have sent money or exposed financial information, contact your bank and the relevant authorities immediately. Furthermore, Rinoa cannot return lost money and does not provide a paid funds recovery service.

Privacy Warning

Remove sensitive information before uploading evidence

Redact private details from screenshots, documents and recordings. Do not submit:

  • Passwords or one-time login codes
  • Full card or bank account numbers
  • Cryptocurrency recovery phrases or private keys
  • Unredacted identity documents
  • Full Social Security or government identification numbers
  • Exact home addresses unless absolutely necessary

Contact your bank first if money or financial information is at risk

If you have sent money, shared card or banking details, or allowed someone to access a financial account, contact your bank or payment provider immediately using its official app, website or the number printed on your card.

United States

FTC ReportFraud and FBI IC3

Report fraud, scams and bad business practices to the Federal Trade Commission. Cyber-enabled scams, online fraud and other internet crime can also be reported to the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center.

United Kingdom

Report Fraud

Report Fraud replaced Action Fraud in December 2025. It accepts reports of fraud and cybercrime affecting people in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

If you live in Scotland or the crime happened there, contact Police Scotland on 101 instead.

Canada

Report Cybercrime and Fraud

Report fraud or cybercrime through the national reporting service operated by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

Victims may also need to contact their financial institution and local police.

Australia

Scamwatch

Report suspicious contact or scam activity to the National Anti-Scam Centre through Scamwatch. Reports help identify scam activity and warn other people.

Contact your bank or card provider immediately if money or financial information has been compromised.
